Luthy Botanical Garden’s Lily Show & Bunny Cookies at Cracked Pepper

It’s a wonder more of my posts aren’t titled Blah blah blah and something “at Cracked Pepper.”  I could go there just to stare at the bakery case.  Btw, their sugar cookies are the perfect texture – somewhere between cakey and crunchy.  Perfect to me, anyway.  You can keep your cakey sugar cookies.  Yuck.  So go to there and get you some bunny cookies.  Or lemon cookies.  Or chocolate croissants.

The Luthy Botanical Garden’s Lily Show is open now through April 20.  It’s in the greenhouse, which is heated; so even if the weather’s bad you can still have a nice little visit.  Oh, and an added perk for the kids – their theme this year is the Lorax.  The greenhouse is currently sprinkled with Truffula trees, Thneads, and character cutouts of Barbaloots, Humming Fish and, of course, the Lorax.

Pardon the 3 year old who insisted on helping me “frame” some of these shots.
