Weathering the Elements

When the ground is covered with fluffy white snow,
That’s how I know it’s cold.
When the trees are full of icicles,
That’s how I know it’s cold.
I’ll wear my hat and scarf and gloves.
I’m just a kid who really loves
When it’s cold. It’s C-C-Cold!
It’s C-C-Cold, BRRRR! I wish I had fur.
I wish I was a bear with furry, furry hair.
It’s cold! It’s C-C-Cold!
-Barney
Here on Monday the HIGH is going to be -9 degrees.  That’s NEGATIVE 9, with wind chills between 30 and 40 BELOW.  Mother Nature ain’t messin around.  Time to hunker down and watch some Barney.  Or not. This morning Abby and I dashed out of the car to snap a couple pics. It was a balmy 15 degrees or so.  Right now there’s just enough snow to make everything look clean, but not so much that some color can’t pop through.  Love it.  Love this brave girl.  Look!  She’s an airplane!
